The Beer Farm is a popular gathering place for locals and tourists, fur-babies included. There is a play area for children and an indoor play area with pinball machines for the bigger kids. The Beer Farm is situated on land that used to be a dairy farm and the old hay shed is now the main bar area with a long, beautiful Jarrah bar counter. Another outstanding feature is the doors that open up for entrance into the paddock are on window rollers. 2. Brewhouse Margaret River
This local favourite brewery is ideally situated on the edge of Margaret River where it is an easy walk for residents and visitors. The CBCo Brewing Company has been a local favourite for nearly two decades. The popularity of this brewery is a combination of great beers, great atmosphere, the extra friendly staff, and a comfortable, family-friendly environment. Everyone is welcome at the CBCo Brewing Company, and this includes the family dogs. There is an exciting play area where the children can enjoy themselves under the watchful eyes of their parents as they are tasting some exceptionally brewed local beers and taking in the scenery. The Cheeky Monkey Brewery is a locally owned and operated favourite location for the entire family. Besides a lineup of classic beers and cider, they also offer a limited range of beers and a seasonal IPA that customers look forward to with gusto. You can enjoy a tasting paddle of five beers or take your pick of single mugs straight from the tap. The main offerings include lager, mid-ale, pale ale, IPA, and Ginger. The Eagle Bay Brewing Company is an all-in-one microbrewery, vineyard and restaurant on a 66-year-old working family farm. Overlooking the Lions Park in the center of Dunsborough, there is a spacious play area for the children, and all the beers and ciders are brewed on the owner’s cattle farm. The Rocky Ridge Brewing Company is a real gem when it comes to native brewing. The local owner, Hamish Coates, proudly proclaims that every beer he brews is made from ingredients he grows on the family farm including the hops and the barley. The brewery has recently opened their cellar door in the heart of Busselton. It is situated in the family’s refurbished 1930s family home. Wild Hop Brewing Company is the newest member of breweries in the Margaret River area. While it is stretching its brewing wings, it is already a popular gathering place for locals and out-of-town visitors. There is a play area for children and dogs on leads are also welcome. There is an indoor and open veranda for dining. During the cooler temperatures, the veranda will be heated. The brewery is locally owned and operated, and it is situated on the family’s 50 acres of private property with a panoramic view of the Yallingup Hills and stretches from the flat plains to the rocky coastline. At present there is no plan to develop a standard lineup of beers, but to create different beer styles with an exciting array of recipes and ingredients. The goal is to have something new and delectable every time someone visits the brewing company.
