Beginning on February 5th and continuing throughout the month the Busselton Fringe Festival is the place to be with something different happening every day. The entertainment is as varied as the audience that attends from retro cabarets and street theatres to family-friendly circus act, live music, and an abundance of taste-tempting food vendors. Stroll through an artistically created emporium or sit back and enjoy the performances of local and visiting players.

- Direct From the Farm to You
Margaret River Farmers Market – For two decades, our award-winning farmers market has served the local community every Saturday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM local farmers and food producers offer their fresh produce, seasonings, meats, seafood, and preserves directly to you, the consumer. The items available for sale change with the seasons, so there is always something new to try and taste.
The best part of shopping and supporting local growers is the opportunity to chat with the farmers and learn the various ways to prepare and serve their food. 3. Geographe Bay Race Week
For one entire week, from 6 February through 12 February, you can indulge your love of water competition at the annual Geographe Bay Race Week. This is the one time a year that yacht lovers, both competitors and spectators, come together for the region’s premier yachting regatta. There are different levels of competition dedicated to all levels of sailing skills.
The schedule of attractions produces a festive atmosphere of both on-water and off-water activities set within the picturesque background of pristine waters, stunning scenery, and exquisite coastlines. The daily events begin at 10 AM. 4. Valentine’s Day
What would February be without Valentine’s Day? And, because this year it comes on a weekend, you now have a wonderful reason to plan a Forest Rise romantic weekend getaway with your loved one.

- Romance Under the Stars
Lovers Lane at Art Geo Busselton – An evening of world-class music featuring Michael de Grussa and Courtney Murphy as they perform an exciting exhibition of competing on baby grand pianos. This masterful duelling takes place in The Courtyard at Busselton’s Cultural Precinct. A romantic setting with a complimentary glass of wine or beer and canapes from the Get Pickled shop, and an oyster shucking bar available.
This exception event has a ticket price of $40 per person and takes place on Sunday, February 14th from 7 PM to 10 PM. Reservations are encouraged. Valentine’s Day Lunch by The Lake at Bettenays Margaret River – A menu that incorporates local ingredients and spices for a full dining experience of tasteful sensations personally created by Chef Ismail Benlamlih. The meal includes a glass of Bettenays wine and a specially selected Valentine’s Day gift for your loved one. There will be live music performed by Ricky Green to complete the romantic ambience.
The event costs $95 and takes place on Sunday, February 14th with a choice of two sittings. The first sitting is at 12 PM noon and the second sitting is at 2 PM. Dave Rastrix Trio at Settlers Tavern – This free Valentine’s Day concert features a mix of passionate jazz-reggae and spontaneous soulful tunes performed by three exceptionally talented instrumentalists and songwriters. Tap your feet to the rhythm or dance to the beat. This event takes place on Sunday, February 14th from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
